CASEY ANDREW THOMAS (b. 1997) is a composer based in San Diego, CA. He has received the John Philip Sousa Band Award and the "Semper Fidelis" Award for Musical Excellence.  He currently studies music composition at Palomar College.
​

Casey is also an accomplished tuba player and, as of 2014, studies privately with Eric Weirather. He currently performs with the Palomar Symphony Orchestra at Palomar College and in the Wind Ensemble at CSUSM in San Marcos, California. He has also conducted both the Palomar Symphony Orchestra and the Palomar College Brass Ensemble on several occasions.​

The Millennium Composers Initiative represents composers from all around the world at the beginning of their professional careers, regardless of their aesthetic, style, or background. Creating fresh and engaging new music for all types of ensembles and mediums, we strive to push the limits of what defines music and art through experimental, conventional, and interdisciplinary means, providing new experiences for audiences and artists everywhere.
